~ Entities ~
Entities
An entity is an organization of consciousness. It is therefore pure energy. When the energy that defines an entity is itself organized, the entity exists and is a part of creation. If the energy that defines the entity remains unorganized, the entity does not exist and belongs to non-creation. An entity, whether physical or metaphysical, can be of three types:
Positive
Negative
Neutral
Positive Entities
Positive entities have known attributes so that things can be said about them. Saying that an entity “is” something or “is not” something is, in both cases, saying something about that entity. Even saying that an entity is nothing is saying what that entity is – nothing. In all these cases the entity is positive.
Examples of positive entities are:
- This pen is red.
- It is not blue.
- There is nothing in this room.
- This is a pen.
- It is not a ruler.
- A vacuum is nothing.
Negative Entities
Negative entities are purely abstract in nature where the entity is described in terms of “isn’t” – the opposite of “is”. We don’t say that the entity “is not” something, for this would describe a positive entity. Rather we say that the entity “isn’t” something. Negative entities transcend existence, and do not exist, for if they did, they would be classified positive.
Neutral Entities
A neutral entity has no known qualities whatsoever. These entities can thus never be known to be in existence. They are only a part of non-creation. Just like negative entities, neutral entities transcend existence and are purely abstract in nature.
Objects
Objects are physical entities. All physical entities are positive, but the converse is of course not true. Physical entities are a subset of positive entities, whilst positive entities a subset of entities. Examples of objects are:
- Chair
- Rock
- Plant
- Cat
Concepts
Concepts are non-physical entities. All non-physical entities too are positive, but the converse, again, is not true. Examples of non-physical entities are:
- A thought
- An emotion
- Angels
An understanding of Oneself
One understands Oneself by producing, through one’s own consciousness, the many entities, each representing a particular understanding. A chair for example is produced by yourself. Your own consciousness has to have produced the chair, since how else does it come to you? And it comes to you as the chair. Why does it come to you as the chair and not as a table? It comes to you as the chair because it is a means (dimension) through which you, your “lower self”, come to terms with Yourself. The chair thus represents a specific understanding of Yourself by your “lower self”.
The more concrete the entity, such as a “physical” entity for example, the more specific the understanding, albeit even more so grossly skewed. A concrete entity is always excessively warped since one’s Purest Essence is Will unexpressed and the concrete entity has been greatly expressed. The more concrete the expression of Oneself, the more warped the understanding of Oneself.
Since the chair is an understanding by oneself of Oneself, the chair is of course a part of yourself, called an incarnation. This is why the chair itself appears to “exist” within that which we call “reality”. The entire nature and meaning of your incarnation embodies thus the sum total understanding of Yourself by your “lower” earthly self.
